Meet Our BoardAmy Ross, MBA, PMP Amy Ross is a certified Project Manager (PMP) with over ten years of experience as an Information Technology Project Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Masters in Business Administration. Currently, Amy teaches the Project Management Professional Certification class at UTEP in El Paso in addition to being a stay at home mother who is involved in volunteer work in her community.
Cheryl Aldridge, MN, RN, CPNP Cheryl Aldridge has been a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 1979. Her most recent position was with Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas where she worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Newborn Nursery as well as a manager of the Newborn Nursery NPs and served as Director of Nursing Informatics. She retired in 2011 and has been enjoying volunteer work, spending time with her family (especially her 3 grandchildren), knitting, reading and generally relaxing. She was awarded PNP Excellence Award by the Greater Texas Chapter of NAPNAP in 1998. She has served on several Non-Profit boards and is currently Chair of the Serve Denton Board of Directors in Denton, TX.
Stacie Elizondo, BSN, RNC-MNN Stacie has been in nursing for 20 years and began her career in maternal child nursing in 1998. She has been the nurse manager for the Women’s Health/Mother-Baby unit for 10 years. Her duties include overseeing nursing practice and quality initiatives for obstetrics and gynecology. Stacie serves as the current President of TPA and has held the offices of Secretary and Vice-President. She is active in her community and serves on several committees focused on mothers and babies. Barbara A. Greer, RN, MSN, NE-BC Barbara retired in 2013 as the director of the NICU at Cook Children’s Medical Center after 27 years and is one of the founding partners for Synova Associates and continues to be involved in their leadership conferences. Although retired, Barbara is still active in her profession. Several years ago, she rotated off of the Perinatal Advisory Council, which has been charged by the Texas State Legislature to develop standards of care, as well as a designation process for both Perinatal Units and NICU’s in the state. In addition, she is an ex officio member and past president of the Texas Perinatal Association.
Amy Brillhart Amy currently serves as a Pediatric Sales Rep for Abbott Nutrition in the hospital division. Amy has been in the medical/health industry for almost 20 years and has a lifelong passion for improving the lives of mothers and children. Being on the board has brought her so much pleasure and she is looking forward to many more years to come. In her spare time, Amy and her husband, Burton, with their dogs Sam and Lola, enjoy traveling, gardening, skiing and fishing.
Kimberly Clipp, DNP, APRN, C-NNIC, NNP-BC
Kimberly Clipp has been a neonatal nurse practitioner since 1995. She received her doctorate from Texas Tech University. She has been employed at Parkland Health since 1990 and has over 13 year as manager of a large Neonatal Nurse practitioner team. She has presented at multiple conferences and provides outreach in the community. In 2023 she was named one of DFW’s great 100 nurses. She is an active member of Texas nurse practitioners, National Association of Neonatal Nurses, Academy of Neonatal Nursing and Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses and American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a co-author in publications like American Journal of Perinatology and is active in research with University of Texas Southwestern. During her spare time she likes traveling and riding ATVs.
Lori Dyess, RN, MSN Lori has been in nursing since 2006 all of which have been in women's and children's nursing. She is currently the Director of Women's and Children's at Midland Memorial Hospital where she oversees labor & delivery, NICU, mother baby and pediatric units. She thoroughly enjoys her job and is excited to tackle any and all challenges that come her way.

Ghislain Hardy, MD, MSc., FACOG Ghislain Hardy, M.D. is an Assistant Professor and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist at Texas Tech University Health Science Centre – El Paso in the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology. He earned his medical degree from Montreal’s University and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at McGill University, followed by a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Hardy’s area of interest are: fetal brain ultrasound, medical education, community outreach and health economics. He has also earned a Master’s in Health Economics, Policies and Management from London School of Economics in United Kingdom. He is an active member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Canadian Royal College of Physician and Surgeons and the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys playing ice hockey, gardening and learning new languages. Sheralyn Hartline, MSN, RNC-NIC Current Position: Board Member
Board Member Since 2012 Sheralyn Hartline is the Director of the Neonatal ICU and ECMO departments at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Ft Worth. She graduated from Walden University and has been employed at Cook Children’s for 12 years. Her duties include overseeing nursing practice and quality initiatives for a Level IV NICU. She was integral in the design and build of 106 bed all single room NICU in Ft. Worth. Sheralyn is active in her community and sits on several boards all focused on bettering the lives of infants and children.
Kelli D. Kelley Kelli D. Kelley founded Hand to Hold in 2010 after struggling for years with difficulties surrounding the premature births of both of her children. She now invests her time and talents to raise awareness about the high incidence of anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder among NICU parents and advocating for hospital and community based programs to ensure better outcomes for babies and families.
Jessica McNeil, MSN, APRN, CNM, RNC-OB, C-EFM Jessica McNeil is a certified nurse midwife in Dallas, TX. Her professional experience has focused on maternal and infant health. She started her nursing career in a 107 bed level III NICU at Parkland Memorial Hospital, where she had the opportunity to care for some of the sickest babies. After her time there, she transferred to another Dallas area hospital where she worked in labor & delivery, Antepartum, and continued to care for babies. In 2015 Jessica had the honor of being selected as an AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Emerging Leader and in both 2016 and 2020 was the National AWHONN Conference Host Committee Chair. Having previously served in positions ranging from perinatal educator to women’s services manager. In addition to her work, she is the current chair of the DFW chapter of AWHONN, as well as an ACOG maternal levels of care surveyor. She also served as a contributing author to the 7th edition of Foundations of Maternal-Newborn AND Women’s Health Nursing and is on the Institute for Perinatal Quality Improvement Advisory Board. She has spoken at both national and international conferences, and in 2019 she was recognized as a D magazine top 100 nurse. Jessica has a passion for improving maternal and infant morbidity and mortality and she seeks to improve outcomes through social change. Through inter-professional collaboration, evidenced-based practice, standardization of care and through the confrontation of our implicit biases, she truly believes we can end maternal mortality. She currently holds national certifications in both inpatient obstetrics and electronic fetal monitoring.
Sanjeet Panda, MD, FAAP Sanjeet K. Panda, M.D. is an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University HSC – El Paso in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology. He completed his pediatric residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Texas A & M University, Corpus Christi, Texas and his fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center, New York. Dr. Panda has had several publications in journals like - The Journal of Neuroscience, Journal of Surgical Case Reports, Reproductive Sciences, and American Journal of Infection Control. Dr. Panda’s areas of interest are; Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia in neonates; early childhood brain development; Neuroimaging during prematurity and Developmental surveillance in follow-up clinic. He is also an active member of American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and Texas Pediatric Society (TPS). During his spare time he likes cooking, travelling and playing tennis.
Amber Ozaeta BSN, RN, C-EFM Amber graduated from UTEP with my BSN in 2016 and began her career working in the NICU at Las Palmas Medical Center. In 2017, due to her husband’s Military relocation, she transferred Labor & Delivery. That is where her passion and love for Women’s Health began. In 2023 she became the Director of Labor & Delivery at Las Palmas Medical Center and completed HCAs Leadership Institute Academy. Her duties include overseeing nursing practice and quality initiatives for a Level IV L&D.
Michael E. Speer, MD Michael E. Speer, MD, graduated from Baylor University College of Medicine in 1968 and completed his training in1976. He is currently the Medical Director for the Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) NNP Service and the Mother-Baby Units at the TCH Pavilion for Women. He is also the Deputy Chief of Pediatrics at the Methodist Hospital. He previously served 6 years on the Texas Medical Association’s (TMA) Board of Trustees, the last year as Chair, and is currently serving the 3rd year of three more years on the Board as past President of the TMA. Dr. Speer has also served as president of multiple other organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Texas Chapter. He has also served as Chair of the AAP Executive Committee for the Section on Perinatal Pediatrics. He is a past member of the AAP’s Committee on Fetus and Newborn, the NRP Steering Committee, and the Ad Hoc Committee on Health Literacy. He has published over 60 papers and lectured extensively in this country, Central and South America and Europe.
